The project CentropeMAP concerns the realisation of a web portal for a common cross-border spatial information system which is following the approach of processing spatial referenced data via standardised Web Map Services (WMS). This application does not only work as an online tool to display the data but aditionally allows to integrate information from distributed server sources.
CentropeSTATISTICS is a powerful extension for CentropeMAP which allows the user to view statistical data and even create their own thematic maps directly on the CentropeMAP interface. The easy mode offers ready-to-use maps whereas the expert mode lets the user choose classes, methods, and colours.
We have created an online dictionary to foster dialogue between the project partners and in order to standardize reports, presentations, handouts, etc. related to the CentropeMAP project.
